What I Got: First, I have to state that it was very difficult to decide what to order. The menu is limitless. Anything you can imagine and desire for brunch, they have it. Farm fresh egg options, tacos, steak, fajitas, avocado toast, ribs, pastas, waffles and so much more. After mulling over my decision for quite some time, I finally went with what my gut (pun fully intended) was telling me to get and ordered two waffle plates. The first, “Morning Delight” offered the perfect, mouthwatering waffle recipe paired with an assortment of juicy berries, fluffy whipped cream, and rich maple syrup. Next, the “Southern Duchess” which includes crispy fried chicken to complement the waffle and maple syrup did not disappoint. On my quest to find the perfect chicken and waffles combo in Miami, I came close to deeming it impossible for a restaurant to get it right: perfectly seasoned, crisped to perfection chicken, and buttermilky waffles that melt away in your mouth. But Limonada won. *Excuse me for a moment while I daydream of this meal for the 100th time today.*
Reason to Go: If the name wasn’t enough of a giveaway, Limonada is the ultimate spot for brunch, drinks with friends, or both. With their vibrant and bubbly take on Brunch, Limonada serves up a fully interactive experience for guests with their feature of live music and games that can get you a free drink if you’re sober enough to win. Some of these games include “Shake for Shots,” “Beat the Glass,” and “Wheel of Fortune,” all of which give each bruncher, whether you’ve traveled from near or far, the opportunity to interact and mingle with new people. Their “Daily Specials” menu not only includes a $4 happy hour drink menu, but a deal for each day of the week, some of which include $10 pasta on Mondays and $3 tacos on Tuesdays. My favorite special lands on Sundays: with a purchase of a main entree you can get a free dessert! If you’re looking for a quintessential “Boozy Brunch” look no further. Not only does Limonada offer their brunch menu every day, all day, but you can enjoy a mimosa-filled moment (or two) every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with Bottomless beverages offered from 11am to 10pm.
