What I Got: To start, I opted for an order of fresh homemade focaccia paired with olive oil and parmesan cheese. Next, I decided to try something fun for my main dish and went with the Tagliolini con Pesto which is essentially homemade tagliolini pasta, shrimp, tomatoes in a rich and creamy pesto sauce. I ended my meal with the Tortino al Cioccolato, a warm chocolate cake paired with a scoop of vanilla gelato.

Reason to Go: Besides being located in trendy Wynwood, Sette Osteria is the perfect Italian eatery. As this was my second time here, I was amazed yet again at just how homemade everything tasted. Though I’ve yet to venture to Italy myself, I can’t imagine pasta capable of tasting any better than the pasta at Sette Osteria. One of my favourite things about this restaurant includes the decor: the inside includes high ceilings brimmed with plants. Golden lights and bright yellow chairs complete the outside seating area if you prefer people watching to accompany your meal. Now for my best-loved part of any meal: dessert. I’m a firm believer in a restaurant’s dessert selections being the deciding factor that either makes or breaks a restaurant’s potential. With options such as Panna Cotta with carmelized berries and a rich chocolate cake paired with sweet gelato, Sette Osteria is easily a 5-star restaurant with their desserts alone.
