What I Got: Waffle of the day (blueberry), Avocado Slicer, Oatmeal with fruit and Hot Chocolate.
Reason to Go: My favourite part of my day is eating breakfast and getting to eat breakfast at the Alchemist was a real delight. Besides the deliciously healthy and filling plates, the cafe offers both inside and outside dining with the latter being an experience itself. Since it was a nice day, I chose to sit outside at the big family-style table wrapped around a tree to enjoy my meal. When my hot chocolate came, I was surprised to see I was served a mason jar of warm milk, the whitest I have ever seen, with a large chunk of dark chocolate on the side. My meal was just as much of a surprise. The blueberry waffle was the perfect mix of buttermilk and blueberries and the avocado slicer offered a refreshing zest of flavour to top it all off. With an onsite gift shop and its homey coffee shop feel, The Alchemist is a go to spot for anyone seeking good food and a quality dining experience.
