Pastis Miami

About Pastis Miami
Tucked away in the heart of Miami, Pastis brings a touch of Parisian charm to the vibrant and colorful streets of Wynwood. While the critically-acclaimed NYC favorite opened its doors to South Florida in April 2023, Pastis Miami has quickly become a beloved hotspot, captivating French food lovers with its authentic cuisine, charming ambiance, and impeccable service. Whether you’re a local looking for your new go-to dining spot or a visitor eager to explore Miami’s diverse food scene, Pastis promises a captivating dining experience that will transport you straight to France. Continue reading below to discover what makes this restaurant a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and lovers of all things French.

What to Get
While the menu remains almost entirely the same as its New York counterpart including most of its crowd favorites and classic French dishes, there are a couple of new additions unique to the Miami menu, including the Big Eye Tuna Carpaccio and the Red Snapper Provencal, that honor this merging of French and Florida flavors. We began our dining experience by trying the classic French onion soup, which despite the intense humidity plaguing South Florida this summer, proved to be a comforting and flavorful choice that aptly embodies the essence of traditional French cuisine. For our main course, the Spaghetti Limone came highly recommended, serving as a refreshing and zesty twist on a beloved pasta dish, perfect for a summer meal. The Duck Confit was a light, tender, and savory entree, bursting with flavor in every bite. This dish was accompanied by “pommes sarladaise,” a French potato dish cooked in duck fat. For dessert, we opted for a traditional French treat, selecting the Profiteroles, which came with a delightful presentation courtesy of our host, further adding an element of theatrical flair to the end of our meal.

Reason To Go
A visit to Pastis Miami is a must-do for those looking to immerse themselves in French flavors this summer ahead of the Paris Olympics or for those who are simply looking for a momentary yet enchanting escape to France right here in Miami. While the menu boasts delicious French dishes that are sure to impress even the toughest critic, the attentive customer service we received was the highlight of our dining experience. The beautiful outdoor seating area, resembling an enchanted garden, provides a serene and charming setting that is perfect for experiencing your own “joie de vivre” moment. Whether you’re savoring the food or soaking in the setting, Pastis promises a delightful and memorable experience for all.
